Trust Zak to give me the candy I had given him just hours earlier....cheapskate. And the wily seductions of Choice left me 6 candies lighter...damn his androgynous charms!

I was hassled again by retards again today. Coincidentally, I wasn't wearing headphones again. I figure that if I wear headphones all the time, I can ignore just about everyone. I won't go into the grisly details, but if someone has the gall to ask for "...only a dollar a day" and then prompt you for bank account details, punch them once for me.

I also had the chance to catch "Paycheck" this week. It was entertaining enough as popcorn fodder, but any further analysis into it made me start to hate it. I weep for John Woo, and his failed career.

Today, as I was plodding along to university, I was stopped by an adorable little Hare Krishna. Serves me right for not having my headphones on and looking like I somewhat gave a damn. At first, I didn't know it was a Krishna. Certainly didn't look the part. No little ponytail thing, no outfit made out of curtains, nothing. If you're going to be a padawan, you may as well dress like one.

He asked me for a donation, and when I gave him two dollars, he gave me a book in return. This struck me as odd, considering when I am normally hassled for change, I am greeted by a disgusted look when I hand over a dollar or two.

Said book is entitled, "The Science of Self-Realization" by someone who clearly thinks too highly of hmself, "His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada".

I may read it, I may set it alight for kindling. The Krishna whet my interest by comparing the idea of reincarnation to "...that movie, 'The Matrix'..." If Krishna's aren't able to go into bullet-time, I shall be sorely disappointed.

I need to be tested for latent mutant psychic abilities. Wasn't it just nine months ago that I said I would write a handful of entries for this blog, and then immediately forget about it? Yes, I believe I did. Quite sure.

Since I have now to contend with my good friend Vincent, who has decided to join the blog community, and has already written more entries than me in the span of little over a couple of weeks, I've decided to rise this mythical phoenix once again, in the hopes that my life may indeed be interesting enough to warrant constant writings of it.

I'm sure I'll update again. Whenever.

I forgot I had one of these (a livejournal, that is.) In other news, I'm going to book tickets for The Matrix Marathon next Wednesday (after my Maths 2 exam). From 7pm to 3am, it's a Matrix frenzy (Matrix, Reloaded, Revolutions!) Hooray!

Update: Looking back on that Halloween haul, it becomes increasingly apparent that girls are only out to steal my candy or trick me.

I was extremely bored today and drew these during an extended lecture. Bear in mind that I have no sense of anatomy, and that any talent I concievably possess is way, way, way below the benchmark set by Morbo, etc. This is what $2500 a semester yields at university, folks.

That, and I like drawing Dran topless.

How compatible with me are YOU?

It doesn't particularly surprise me that three of my top 8 are OMGC crew (Torgo, Flat, and Morbo). Comic geeks tend to be like that. What does scare me though is my apparent perfect match is Torgo. Maybe I should've been a little more specific with my preferences in a mate.

Also, *nyah* to Morbo for being more compatible with Sarah.

Today, at 12:50pm, I went and saw "The Matrix Reloaded." Straight after the first Trinity sequence, I was giddy like a little schoolgirl.

The theatre was packed to the gills with people, but through the wonders of allocated seating (and having pre-booked tickets 4 days in advance), I was privy to one of the best viewing experiences possible. Let it never be said that being too cautious was crazy.

We were given little Matrix Reloaded game cards, that offered instant prizes, etc. Catch was, you had to buy something from the candy bar to get access to the game card "decoder." Anyway, seven bucks and a large popcorn later, I got access to this fabled decoder thing. I could've won a soundtrack, a DVD, or even a frigging poster. What did I win, though? More fucking popcorn.

Hell, I didn't even want the first fucking popcorn, now I get more? Whoop-de-fucking doo.

Anyway, the movie kicked royal ass. I was a little bit hesitant during the first Zion bits, and just got plain annoyed during the completely unnecessary rave/sex scene montage thing. But then they went into the Matrix, and it all went fucking nuts from there on in.

I managed to convince my companions to sit through the 8-minute credits for the 30-second "Revolutions" trailer. Ooh, boy, that rain duel is gonna whip some ass, I tell you.

To top it all off, one of my companions had obtained the "Enter the Matrix" game and all nine Animatrix episodes through "questionable" connections for me. And I didn't even need to blow him or nothing.

All in all, a good day. However, November can't possibly get here early enough, dammit.

Today, after uni, I went out to Camberwell to buy DVD's. Picked up X-Men 1.5 (because I wanted to pick it up after seeing X2, but they'd taken it off the shelf for re-pricing), and Futurama: Season Two.

I then walked down to the Village Rivoli Cinemas and bought some tickets for Matrix Reloaded. Sunday @ 12:50pm. Not too shabby at all. It was allocated seating, but I got H Row, which I guess isn't too horrible. At least it's not like X2, where we were in the fucking front row. Note to self: summer movies require attendance at least 30 minutes prior to screening.

That's right, the most uneventful person in the world just got a LiveJournal. I'm sure to write approximately three entries (including this one) and then forget about this entirely, so try to enjoy it while it lasts.
